ABCON Disbursement & Utilization System

Project Overview

ABCON needed a transparent, accountable, and secure digital system to manage FX disbursement and utilization for Bureau De Change operators across Nigeria.
New CBN regulations (2024) required tighter oversight: who receives FX, how much is disbursed, where the funds go, who buys the FX, and whether members are complying with reporting requirements. Prior to this, nothing existed.

My task was to design a full product ecosystem from scratch: A public website, An Admin Monitoring portal, an authorised disbursement portal, and a BDC utilization portal, all working together to create a clear audit trail for every dollar disbursed, sold, and transacted with.

Impact

The new platform gives ABCON full visibility of FX distribution nationwide real-time utilization reporting, a transparent audit trail aligned with CBN guidelines, cleaner and faster workflows for disbursement, and a modern digital experience for all BDC members.
What was once a fragmented, mostly offline process is now structured, tracked, and auditable.
