About the Project

In 2021, I was invited to redesign and rebuild the TEDx Lagos website. It was an opportunity to shape the digital home of a platform known for bold ideas and important conversations, and I approached it with clarity and purpose.

I started by studying the audience — people who come to TEDx events for inspiration, community, and thought-provoking content. From there, I mapped out the site structure, created wireframes, and refined the experience around simplicity and easy navigation. The visual direction leaned into a bright, energetic palette that reflected the spirit of Lagos and the optimism of the TEDx community.

Once the design was complete, I built the interface myself. Every component was crafted to feel modern, responsive, and accessible across devices. The final website made it easier for visitors to explore speakers, view event details, and stay connected to upcoming programs.

Outcome

The project allowed me to blend UX strategy with hands-on development, and more importantly, to support a platform dedicated to amplifying meaningful voices in the city I call home.
